Data Deletion

You can stop future Strava processing at any time and request permanent deletion of data held by Afterlap.

1. Disconnect Strava

  1. Open Afterlap.
  2. Go to Settings.
  3. Tap Disconnect Strava.

You can also revoke Afterlap access directly from Strava's My Apps settings. Revoking access stops Afterlap from fetching new Strava data.

2. Delete Afterlap data

In Afterlap, go to Settings and tap Delete Afterlap Data. This disconnects Strava, revokes access where possible, removes stored Strava credentials and processing records, and clears backend settings for the Afterlap account under Afterlap's control.

You can also email afterlap.app@gmail.com with the subject “Afterlap data deletion”. Include enough information to identify your Afterlap/Strava connection. Do not send passwords, access tokens, refresh tokens, or authorization codes.

3. What is deleted

Afterlap deletes Strava data and Strava-derived personal data associated with the connected athlete from systems under Afterlap's control, together with Afterlap account/service records that are not required to be retained by applicable law. If a narrow record must be retained for a legal, tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, or dispute purpose, it is isolated and retained only for that purpose.

4. Confirmation

Deletion requests are handled promptly and, for Strava data and Strava-derived personal data, no later than 30 days after the applicable deletion trigger unless a longer retention period is legally required. Afterlap sends written confirmation when the deletion request has been completed.
